dolariMy dad a few weeks ago had a pig butchered, and gave me a good deal of pork, enough to prolly feed me until I leave. Last night was the first night I cooked some of it, shoulder steak. I had dinner about Midnight or so, and began doing some story editing on a story when the cramps hit. ALL FREAKIN' NIGHT LONG.
I was just totally down for the count. I called in sick because by the time the cramps got to a point where I could sleep, I needed to be at work in an hour. I still had cramps (they woke me up often), but at the very least I got some sleep (9 hours worth).
I don't know if I should cook any more of this pork, or just cook it to an inch of it's life. I've had freshly butchered pork before, but this is the first time I've gotten sick from it.
