May. 16th, 2008 09:32 amFor all intents and purposes...I've paid off my credit cards. $100 owed on one, $50 on the other. I only have the $100 because, due to stupid credit rules, I can't pay that till after today (their statements are done weekly, most likely to keep you underpaying). And the $50 was because I sunk all my cash into the other card (-$25 for cash).
Essentially, my next paycheck is CASH. And I have $2550 in credit for the move (should I need it).
Assuming I can keep to my current budget, I should be able to save about $2000 over the next two months in cash, leaving me with a total of $4550 (Hopefully leaving the Credit Card alone).
I'm almost debt free, and managed to pay off all my (minuscule) loans without getting into too much trouble (thanks to lessons learned by my credit torpedoed parents). W00ty t00t t00t.
