Because I'm freaking INSANE, I now have a YouTube channel. Go enjoy its 135 selections of wierdness: http://www.youtube.com/profile_favorites?user=dolari
Now for a bit of Youtube Insanity:
KENS, for decades now, has done a semi-nightly "Eyewitness Newsreel." It's a bit of feel good journalism showcasing local events and Good Things, juxtaposed with other CBS reporters, celebrities, and politicians quoted out of context as if they were commenting on the feature. It's funny, I enjoy it, and, as far as I know, no one else does it.
I was looking for a clip to show Emily, and there's only ONE clip on all of YouTube. Not that I was surprised, it's fairly obscure.
So I start watching...and suddenly I hear "Finally the Southwest Airlines telephone Reservation people..." And recognize a hallway. This is where my mom works...and suddenly, at 47s in, I see her friend Ginger waving at the camera (in the white shirt). Then, at 51s in, on the right, in the leopard print top and hairclip...IS MY MOTHER.
My mother is on YouTube. In the only Eyewitness Newsreel clip on YouTube. Which I came across becaus eI was randomly thinking about it. The odds are staggering. I should have bought a lottery ticket instead.
