Why I love my new panorama program.
Old method (Hand place and stretch/pull/cut to fit)

New method (Autostitch program)

No more stretching problems! I noticed that as I added more and more pics to a panorama, the actual image area got much bigger or smaller depending in the he direction I was adding pics. Emily said it had something to do with lens distortion. And while I was able to salvage it as I got better at it, sometimes I just couldn't do it. The new program seems to be able to match the pictures better, as well as equalize the brightness (sometimes, sometimes you get a curtain effect) and even preserve perspective. And then there's cropping down. On the old version, the largest crop I could do was the smallest picture, so you lost a LOT of top and bottom in the final pic. The new one isn't NEARLY as drastic.
PAnoramas take FOREVER to hand fix. I'm so glad I have this program now. :D
