It rains all the time in Seattle. That part of the stereotype is true (at least in fall). What they don't tell you...is that its not....rain rain.
You don't get tropical downpours like back home...an entire three days of rain in two minutes. But its also not a foggy gentle mist, like you get back home on cold foggy days.
Its more like...a lot of dripping. Spray your roof with a bunch of water and see how it drips once it settles down. Expand that over an entire state for three months. THAT'S Seattle style rain.
Its kinda like Chinese water torture, but with more Teriyaki shops. I kinda like it. :)
