Alas, I blew out another tire. I have no spare. I'm taking some of tomorrow off to get two new tires. And they STILL Want me to come into work. I have half a mind to just not go.

Anyone know how much tires for pickups tend to run? I figure I'll just hit NTB or something.

I have a half table at Trinoc Con. What would you like me to have there? :D

I figure at this rate, I'll be passing out free CDs with the comics burned on them and some of Carrie's music (with Nikki's permission :) ), some prints (suggestions?) and sketches on the spot. :)

Tires vary, and you can probably find better pricing online. Depending on the warranty you want (which directly translates to the quality of the tires, and how long they'll last), you can generally expect to pay, on average, $40-60 per tire. As with many things, you should buy the best you can comfortably afford, and have them do the balancing and installation and whatnot; not having these things isn't worth the couple of bucks you might save.

If you end up needing an alignment (NTB can do em), tack on another $40-50.

If money is really a problem, then sometimes they can repair tires. I'm personally a little wary of the idea, but you do what you gotta do.

Thanks for the heads up. I ended up getting a while new tire, and spending $70 for it. Now to hope my other two tires hold up till I get a spare. :)
