There is at least one person (possibly three) who will figure out this code phrase. Those who get it will think it's hilarious and look forward to the next few entries :)
Today's secret code phrase is:
I've been off my pills for over a month, and the emotional effects are starting to kick in. BOTH of the main effects. :)
I know of one elf out there who is laughing hysterically right now, with that sweet little guffaw she gets. :)
Monday, I did NOTHING but work on this panel. And I woulda had it finished, too, if it weren't form y pesky parents. Now I remember why I left this place...the constant meddling, the continual tugging in different directions. I hate having to define terms for my dad, and his constant "Let's have a long an involved dissertation about X, Y and Z. RIGHT NOW." Especialyl when I'm on a roll, like I was yesterday. It REALLY pissed me off. Not to mention my mother who decided one of my sketches needed her little touch to make it look right. She simply MUST get involved with EVERYTHING. Jeeze....
I talked to Alison for a bit, mainly because one of the panels I drew reminded me of her...and even talked to Deener a bit. I was hoping to have the image finished by morning, but couldn't. I figured, I'd do a little work the next day on it. Simple shading, scanning and placement and POOF! DONE!
Famous Last Words.
Woke up the next day, and noticed my Juno account had dissapeared. I wasn't very worried about it, simply because (1) I was hacking it to use my dreamcast on it and (2) I hadn't used the actual advertisement services since I signed on because my harddrive went kapoofie. Little did I know, this would be the beginning of a BAD BAD day.
First note of problems...Elenderel gave me a list of questions when I told her Andrea was a lefty. I decided to stretch Andrea's wings a little (pun intended) and have HER answer back. It got very long, and I logged onto AOL to try and answer her questions. I started at 4PM.
At about 6 PM, after numerous attempts to send this info to Livejournal via AOL's Severely Crippled and Nasty Winsockets thingy, I telnetted into my old shell account and retyped everything back into the buffer there. Alison was right - LJ's text buffer SUCKS.
Those of you who are interested can read Andrea's little Q&A here:

It was 7PM when I managed to begin work on the panel...when I was promptly interrupted so that I could get a soda for dinner. I was really annoyed when it turned out that I was the only one who had any soda. When I got back, had a little dinner, and tried to get back to the panel. When I noticed someone had redrawn an ear. My mother had decided to insert herself in my sketches. AGAIN.
I began work on the panel again...when I was then interrupted by my dad who wanted a full report on Uzbekistan (I know nothing about it other than it's a former Soviet republic).
I then began to work on the panel again...when my mother interrupted me wanting to play a song for me that she thought was about the WTC bombings and Nostradamus and all sorts of things. The song had the words "Afghanistan" "New York" and "Pentagon." But beyond that, seemed to be a nice and dandy song. Where she got the Nostradamus connection baffled me.
I then began to work on the panel again when I was interrupted because my dad didn't want to get up from the couch and get the remote control for the TV. I was upstairs. He was ten feet away. Go figure.
I finally finish it up about 9PM. I happily get online with AOL and try to upload it to my web server. The upload of the 100K file takes OVER AN HOUR. And it crashes at 99%.
I tried to EMail it to my webserver...AOL doens't even acknowledge the EMail, and simply crashes out with the "AOL has lost connection." I get this error trying to report it to AOL THEMSELVES. This goes on for about three hours, and I'm fuming...at all teh interruptions, all the dissconnections. So, I try to download Juno AGAIN. It takes over FOUR HOURS TO GET A SEVEN MEG FILE. All this time, nearly every web page I went to gave me a DNS not found error, Livejournal didn't exist and anything I tried to do WHILE AOL was up was jsut killing me.
I managed to get Juno installed at 3:30 AM.
THREE F'ING THIRTY IN THE AM.
But let me tell you...I'd rather have that annoying little advertisement bar in the corner and upload a 100k file in under thirty seconds, than ever use AOL again.
And now I can hack into Juno again for my Dreamcast. :) ::hee hee::
Goodnight, everyone, and enjoy the teaser.

Ummm....er....I shoulda rephrased that. :)
I LOVE writing as my characters. I get a real thrill from it...it was the AOL connection problems that made it near impossible to POST that Q&A that pissed me off. You didn't piss me off at all. I'd do it again! :)
Carrie: We love it!
Zand: As long as it I'm not busy.
Victoria: Hush, child.
As a matter of fact, the thing that killed me was trying to upload the comic itself - THAT was what took forever, and downloading the Juno software which took several tries and a lot of hairpulling. :)
I've got all that connection problem fixed at the expense of an annoying advertising banner in the corner. :)
