Wow, there're EBay scammers everywhere. I lost my first EBay auction, and immediately became swamped with "You won a Second Chance Bid!" and "I have a laptop you can buy!"

At first, I thought the Laptop EMails might be legit, but then I got three other EMails from three other people using the exact same text. I wasn't going to buy them, though, I'd already bid on a second Laptop (Lost that one, too). I'm bidding on a third now and actually winning it, although it's really low. As soon as I get my paycheck I'll know exactly how much I have in the bank then I'll up my bid to something a little less auction-losing.

Comics are running REAL late. I will prolly have them up on Sunday, although they might not be finished up. I have my three day weekend starting Sunday, so I'll fix them up and reupload the finished comics that afternoon.

Half the reason for the laptop is so I can work on these things during my lunch hour.

Also try www.overstock.com - that's where I got mine. Slight ding in the film over the LCD but otherwise I'm very happy with it. EBay is not the greatest; the laptop sellers usually snipe their own bids if they don't like how low the winning bid is. :P

Hope you wind up with a good one!

Something like that happened on this auction. It's not the seller, though, since that's Dell itself. Someone popped a bid up several times, I think just to pop the price up. They had a -1 "rating" and it seems that he buys stuff, only to reneg on it later.
