Apr. 8th, 2004 04:13 pmThe DVD drive FINALLY came in. There's no return slip for the old CD-ROM like I thought there would be. I'll keep it till I get a notice I'm supposed to return it. Considering they're both refurbished parts, I doubt the want them back.
Media Player for some reason won't play my DVDs, even though they will on my other machines will (strike that, Media Player WILL play my DVDs, I just need to drop the color depth).
I left neutral feedback on EBay. The laptop was delivered damaged, the wrong CD was sent. It all got fixed, but only two weeks after I bought the machine, and a week after I recieved it.
Still, considering the amount of money I threw into it to get it Perfect (1 more battery, new C-bay attatchment) I still only spent a total of $750. Still a steal.
I have a job interview tomorrow. They seemed vey happy to hear form me on the phone. Hopefully I'll get my career back into publishing soon.
