Here's the Laptop, who has been aptly named "R. Dorothy Waynewright" AKA \\dorothy2

And here is the laptop again...with $1,080. This is quite literally the MOST money I've ever had in my hand, EVER. And it's also a number my bank account has never hit (I broke $1000 ONCE...but it was, like $1000.13).

One thing I appreciate about Dean...he trusts me. Enough to chip in $160 to get my truck out of the shop without any hesitation.

Wow,

That is a lot of cash, add some baggies filled with powder and a few shirtless guys and you've got a scene from Cops. Seriously, congrats on getting the money! Hope all goes well with the return of your truck. etc.

I'm up late/early perusing LJ and trying not to think of my upcoming oral exam (in 6 hours I could be "Master Nekonikoban"), so forgive the odd, unsolicited comments.

I actually considered adding my Megatron Walther P38 Transformer to the pic. :)

Good luck on the exam!

Back in '98, I was ready to buy a house. It was closing day. I had to show up with one of those fancy bank check thingies for over $30,000. First, at the bank, they gave me suspicious looks as to why I was withdrawing so much money. Then, I had to walk through Philly and take the train home, carrying the equivalent of $30,000 in my hands. Little . . . steps. Little . . . steps. Hold . . . bag . . . tightly!

My first thought when I saw that pic was, "When did I put my home PC's wallpaper onto my Powerbook?" :-)

I've had maybe 6000 in my account at one point. The problem? I got the dubious honour of seeing that slowly drip down to zero because I didn't make enough to offset the cost of rent. >_<;

...why do you have $1000 in cash anyways? XD
