The Weather in the Northwest is tons different than back home. There's rarely ever any thunderstorms, there's been only two since I moved here. I do miss the storms from back home. It does rain a lot here, and when it does, no matter how warm it is, the rain is cold. And when a good stron "tropical" type rain happens, and it's still in spring we get "graupel."

It looks like hail, but it's not. They're actually "mini-snowballs." They hit the ground and bounce like hail, but they're nothing but slush once you hold them, and smushes into slush if pushed. I've never seen any thing like it until I moved here, and it's only happened once or twice. It's neat stuff.
