First off - a quick note: I'm 27. Came up three times today. 27. :) And yes, I AM a girl. That came up twice.
They don't make days much better than today.
I woke up today to sweet and sour pork and kudos on yesterday's teaser picture, (now up on the home page! www.dolari.org). The rest of the series will be printed in December, and I'll let everyone know the URL for that when it happens.
Vaysha wrote on one of them "enjoy your day" and frankly, I think that put a pretty positive spin on the rest of the day. We talked for a bit on ICQ. Sorta. My system has been very wonky of late, so I'm not sure half my responses got to her. Sorry, Vaysha!
To anyone who ICQs or AIMs me...don't be offended if I don't answer right away - AOL has been having problems with any information I send away from my machine (uploading files, responding to IMs, sending comments).
Juno has decided to limit my internet access saying I put a strain on their system. Wow...who woulda thunk I use it that much. Oh, well, they're a free service. :)
I talked with Foxynams for a bit as well. Hope she's okay. She's very much like I was at her age, and I'm only just NOW getting over all that crap my family and my self-esteem put me through.
Mom told me to go pick up Dad - no problem there...as long as it's before 6PM...I can do that. Took a nice long relaxing bath. Once out, I got dressed, and 6PM came and went. Eventually Dad called, said he wouldn' be in till 8PM. So I went to Steph's anyway, as we had planned. I spent time with Steph, Kimmo and Hattie, who are all my extended sisters. We played aroudn with their fish, and just hung out for awhile...doing that hanging out thing. Then we watched a bit of Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, which I hadn't seen before. MAn, that's a live action, walking talking Ranma 1/2 episode! Rooftop to rooftop action kung fu flip flying fun!
One thing that movie got me thinking about was the Orient. I may be moving to Japan (Yes, I know the movie is Chinese) in the near future...if the job situation in the US doesn't get any better. I forgot how attractive I find Japanese and Chinese women. I really don't know what it is about them, but I find them so beautiful. But also, I love the architecture of the older periods, and the clothing styles. Everything was so stylized, yet simple. Beautiful! I really hope I do get to go to the Orient...I've always wanted to learn Japanese and/or Chinese and learn the culture. I'll prolly go native. :)
Actually, it's my lack of pills and lack of lover, I think....
I left Steph's at 10:30 to the joys of an approaching thunderstorm. Oh, man. What better way to cap off the evening with a round of storms? It was so dark, and the flashes of lightning were so beautiful. I drove around in it a bit, just to enjoy that "Before the Storm feeling." The storms hit about Midnight, and I loved every minute of it...they're still going on right now (It's 3:18 now) and I'm loving it.
There's something about being outside, with the wind whipping your face and the thunder and lightning that just calms the heck out of me. Oh, that was so nice.
What a wonderful day! Thanks, Vaysha! :)

I put it in the barackets in the overright code thing, but it's not showing up. Instead, I have a blue background.
