A friend of mine got her webcomic put on Portal of Evil. For those not in the know, POE is a site that catalogues "Bad Stuff" and they've aimed their sites right at her comic.

Now, being on POE isn't in itself bad. What I find sad are the people going to HER site and basically saying things like "You should be appologizing to the world for even attempting to draw much less subjecting the world to this abomination" or "it’s only reason for existing seems to be the genocide of my brain cells. "

That's just mean, folks. If you have an issue with the comic, by all means bring it up. But when you say stuff like that, you're not out to critique a comic, you're out to hurt someone.

Sad thing is there are more people willing to pull someone down than bring themselves up just cause bettering themselves takes effort.

Anyways...on happier news, I now have my own personal version of Dark Side of the Rainbow (Aka Wizard of Oz with Dark Side of the Moon soundtrack) and with Dean's help got the second and third passes to synch up pretty nicely. I've got a DVD version and DivX version setup. Worked out REAL nicelike. :)

Dark Side of the Rainbow is badass. Besides the standard way of doing things, I also put one together a couple years ago with a little thing called "The Dark Side of Utah" - a bootleg of Phish performing all of DSOTM at a tiny club near Salt Lake City. It's, uh, different. But still pretty cool.

Only after some tweaking, thanks to Adobe Premeire and the ability to chop an audio track and slide it around. They (Phish) didn't really keep to the timing of the original album, so it needed some help.

I'm kind of disspaointed they never put me on their site, I mean bondage, one character that was always naked, and lots of gorey fight scenes. BAH I say!

The reboot WILL get on there! :)
