Back from the doctors office.
Good:
Blood sugars in the morning are too low. Really. Dropping to 28 units of slow insulin.
Blood sugars are so good, she wants me checking once or twice...A WEEK. @_@ At least once we figure out if the lower dose insulin gets my sugars back up.
Swollen but non painful knee is most likely the result of losing 55 pounds rapidly, and the 3.2 mile walks. She'd be much more worried if I had a female pelvis with the difference in the knee angle.
Same goes with leg numbness, but call if it gets worse so we can make sure its not sciatica.
She doesnt need to see me for three months. Shes confident I've got this under control.
Bad:
Vitamin D levels officially and medically suck. Welcome to Seattle. Prescribed more.
I have flat feet. Didnt know that. Suggested orthapedics or good supportive shoes for all my walking.
Things are looking up!
