My husband looooves braunschweiger sandwiches the same way -- but he adds red onion slices to the sandwich. He eats limburger sandwiches the same way.

The "Nutty Professor": Salami on a kaiser roll with lettuce, tomato, cucumber and honey.

(Not ashamed of his bizarre food preferences)

Anytime Dean is righteously frustrated he LOVES to shout "BOY DO I LOVE COLD CANNED RAVIOLI!"

We miss you, Calvin....

hrm. I like all of the above. :P

One of my favorite. Sun dried squid (cuttlefish). This is taken right out of the sea and allowed to sun dry. Salty, due to the sea salt that also dries on it. Then, you heat it over an open flame, so it's hot and slightly toasted (which actually tenderizes it a little). Then you tear pieces off and eat it like jerky, the tentacles and the body both.

Only part I don't eat is the eye. Too hard.

My fiance won't kiss me after I eat this though. It tastes awesome, however, it has an odor many people don't like, after you eat it. Plus, some just don't like the flavor.

This is completely different from prepared cuttlefish, which has been sliced and processed. That has a nice sweet flavor too it and doesn't have the after odor. But, just isn't the same as the raw thing. :P

Cow tongue sandwiches with lots of ketchup! Family favorite when I was growing up ... and it meant that no one would dare steal my lunch at school, too! Talk about mystery meat...

I actually like lengua tacos (which are also cows tongue). Tasty stuff. Barbacoa is good too, which is basically "Boil a hog's head, and eat whatever sloughs off."
