Howdy!
Go a bit of what I hope is a non-fan-related inquiry for you. Some time ago, I began looking to replace my old 1992 Chevy Pickup when it hit 250,000 miles. The
thing is, she just wouldn't die, so I kept driving her. Earlier this year, at 247,000 miles, the clutch hydraulics died. Unfortunately, I was unable to fix it,
as I just couldn't find a way to pay for it. It's been in the driveway since.
Just recently, my father gave me his 1996 pickup, making the 1992 one redundant. But I really really don't want to give it up for junk. She's got an excellent
engine, just needs some clutch work. We even have the parts for it (my dad tried to fix it, quickly gave up and said "Donate it.").
So, I'd like to offer it to you. Either for Mythbusters work, movie SFX stuff (if you still do that), or just an extra vehicle for hauling things around once
fixed. And completely for free as a thank you for making me happy by blowing things up on a regular basis (up to, and possibly including, said vehicle).
The only downside is I can't get it to San Francisco. It's currently in Seattle. If you come up here for some reason, or can get it down there, again, it's all
yours.
I realize that may not be possible, so if you have any recommendations for car recycling or charities that take vehicles, I'd love your input and advice
Thanks again for years of fun!
Jenn
