dolariI'm writing a letter to an artist whose comic I'm reading, and it has a lot of "I don't do X, but a lot of my friends do" or "Some of my friends are Y, but I'm not myself" and "I know about Z, but not from personal experience."
Looking around, I'm part of a rather large circle of friends, most of who have actually very little in common with me, my interests, my beliefs or my hobbies. It's funny that they're even friends with me, given how few things actually bind us together.
But from my end, even if we aren't in the same circles, or the same fan clubs, or the same art styles, they all have one thing in common.
They are awesome people, who I am damned happy have let me be their friend. :)
