Well. It's for SUBSTANTIALLY less that I wanted (I haven't been paid that rate since 2000), but I have a job. I start work 7/8.

Congrats man. It does suck to take a pay cut, but it's a Texas foothold. If you shine there you could move up the ranks quickly, but even if you don't it's a lot less stressful to look for the perfect job when you have some money coming in. Really happy for you.
