Friday
If there's anything I learned about Livejournal...it's EXTREMELY cathartic. I had a nasty night Friday with work, and with Livejournal down, I got the full brunt of why I keep this place around and use it as a venue for bitching.
It gives me a space to yell into the wind. To scream about shit going on, exclaim an occasional happy scream, giggle like a school girl, and basically emote the hell out of myself because I can.
I had a very bad day Friday (documented elsewhere), which is when LJ went down (and of course, my server was the last to come up :) ), and I realized just how much I've come to depend on that screaming into the wind. It gives you a chance to smash your TV, throw it out the window and have it land on a prick, without needing to do it in real life.
Anyways, it's late, I have a blood test to do as soon as I get up, in seven hours, and I'll write about the boring Saturday and surreal Sunday tomorrow night.

...as you got momentarily distracted and started to veer off course (Happily, you corrected).
Heh.
No MREs were in evidence, alas....
