I'm flip flopping worse than a bad pair of cheap sandals.
With Dean leaving soon, I've decided for one last ditch completely last minute effort to try and get my surgery again this year.
The idea being that once our lease is up, and I take over the full rent and utilities, I simply won't be able to afford it no matter what I do. If I save RIGHT NOW, and push hard, I might be able to pull it off by the time the lease is up.
Why this over the new truck? Well, I figured, with Dean in the picture, I could afford a new truck and all it's payments as well as save for my surgery. On my own, though, that's not happening. Although once on my own, truck payments alone (assuming I have a stable job) will be affordable. The idea = Get the surgery, pay it up front. Then get a truck and work on payments.
So here we go. A strict budget, a grimaced smile at work, and a good diet, and we'll see what happens in a few months.
