Nov. 1st, 2013 11:34 pmThis tasty looking shrimp and pork Thai salad is actually a failure. They were SUPPOSED to be spring rolls. It all worked out until rolling the rice paper.
The method I was given was to wet some paper towels, put a rice sheet over it, and then another paper town on top in a stack. From the top down, remove the paper towel, add filling, roll rice paper up, lather rinse and repeat.
The problem was, after the first, the rice paper "melded" with the paper towels and rather than peel away from the paper towel, tore (tore the paper towel, too! That's some strong stuff).
Any suggestions?
Made for a tasty salad, anyways. :/
