You can deeply disagree with people without completely hating them. Building understanding using common points of interest is more important than burning a bridge because you disagree with over one or two issues,

Bridge burning should only be used in the deepest of offenses, and even then, give them the benefit of the doubt before you light that fire.

Because as much as you may feel the other person is wrong - there's ALWAYS the possibility that YOU are in the wrong.
