It's a Hap Hap Happy day!
As birthdays go, this one ROCKED.
The day itself was pretty standard...I'm almost done with When Rabbit Howls. Its a great book, and, this'll mean, I'll stop talking about MPD and brain disorders. My next book to tackle is L'morte D'arthur, so you'll get to hear me wax all medieval for a few weeks.
Than, came the birthday feast. Fajitas, rice, beans, tortilla, salad. The WORKS. I stuffed myself silly. If my doctor could see me know, he'd have my stomach pumped.
Then, I went to the movies and saw Jurassic Park III and A. I. I should have seen A. I. and Jurassic Park III.
JP3 is pretty thinly written. It's flimsy, thin with no character development. but who cares. It's dinos eating people! Dinos eating dinos! People stealing raptor eggs, flying Pterodactyls and William Macy!
AI, though. Man. AI put me through a wringer. In my life, there's a specific goal I'm aiming for. I've had problems with my mother. This is about a boy with a specific mission, and his longing for a mother who loves him. Oh, man, was I in tears. Through the whole thing, I was in tears. That movie poked at my open wounds and watched the way I squirmed. And it was beautiful. From New York underwater, to the Blue Fairy to Gigolo Joe. Wow. I was in tears, and I'm even getting a sore throat just typing about it.
Tomorrow, the Birthdayfest continues with Planet of the Apes.
On my way home, I picked up a Black Forest cake and Strawberry Cheesecake Ice Cream. It's chilling now, I'll have it in the morning.
This has been one kick-butt birthday shebang. :)

You don't know Me...
Heh, a couple of years too late, but still...Good to see that you're finding positive experiences (such as a happy birthday!) through this particular rough patch in your life. I'm just now getting this far into reading your Journal, and I find it rather interesting. Your mentioning of MPD also caught My eye, as two of My best online-friends have MPD themselves. Fortunately, they live together, and are able to help each other cope with the "difficult" alters.
Well, on to reading more!
