I tried to cancel Hulu...who immediately said "Don't go, we'll give you two months free." TAKEN.
I started to cancel Netflix, who told me "Hey, if you cancel now, you still get Netflix till the 26th...but you'll lose your really low early-adopter payment plan. So I kept it. I'll cancel on the 24th should I not have a job or $8 by then.
I then decided to completely grind my internet to a halt by dropping down to 6MBPS. I love the 100, it's wonderful and really not all that expensive. But any cash I can save. TWC told me, we can drop you to 50MBPS for $10 less. So I asked for something slower. There was 6MBPS, but it was more expensive than the 50! Which is STILL more than the 20 I had before the upgrade. Holy cow.
Only downside:
Put in my 60+few days notice at the apartment complex. Manager wasn't in, so wasn't able to discuss reupping or moving to a studio inside that 60 days. We'll see what happens. I did leave written notice in case they try to get me on for another month.
