Bad Ending to a Good Weekend.

I don't go out and eat at restaurants. I've had too many bad things happen at them, that I usually have the food delivered or will pick it up.

There are exceptions. I like eating at Royer's, because the people there are cool enough to know about this out of the way restaurant that you KNOW you're going to be fine. I will also eat at buffet restaurants, because the cooks won't do something to the food just to get at one person.

I made a BIG mistake today. I decided I wanted to have some breakfast to "end" my weekend and hit Kerbey Lane Cafe at 4AM. They're a local chain, supposedly had very very good food, and they were open.

So I go in, get seated and order a nice breakfast. It was great. And very cheap! $9 for a breakfast that would be $15 anywhere else, and Massive Pancakes. I left after about twenty minutes though.

You see, sitting directly across from me was a guy going on about how he wasn't wearing any panties. And how he just had sex. And was describing it in graphic detail to the "who the hell is he?" group next to him. After they left, he got up to the chalkboard menu and wrote under Breakfast Special "I just had sex."

I didn't care, I thought he was just drunk. Which I'm sure he was.

A few minutes into my dinner, I hear in a loud "meant for everyone to hear" voice: "That dude has a set of tits!" he turns to his girlfriend and in the same voice "They're fucking bigger than yours!" I just ignored it - again, he was drunk.

But he got fixated on me. "I wonder if he's one of those sex change dudes." "You can't get surgery to take the faggot out of you." "Just cause you're ugly and can't get a girl, doesn't mean you need to cut it off." "If his tits are that big, I wonder what his belly looks like."

I wanted to ask the waiter to do something, but he was being insulted too, and just taking it. So I asked for a take-home tray and left. Back to take out for the forseeable futue.

You know, it doesn't really matter how good the food is. Any staff that puts up with customers insulting other customers is not a place that deserves your money. I mean, that's pretty much sexual harassment!

Sorry you had to put up with that - the waiter was a pussy and I would have asked for the manager. That's ridiculous -- that man should've been thrown out of the restaurant from the get-go.
