I've woken up every day this week to voicemails from various staffing agencies in Austin offering me work.  On résumés I sent in in SEPTEMBER.

Where were you nine months ago when I really needed you, guys?  Sorry, but I'm back where I want to be, and I'm not leaving until they tell me to go.

Ah, recruiters! I'm not in favor of hunting in any guise, but I will admit to being sympathetic to a season for them.

My favorite is one that has, in the past, coughed up an autoresponder requesting a new resume, as the last one they have is from 2007.

I sort of want to ensure this email address persists throughout the centuries, and see which side expires first. =:)
