Sometimes I do worry that I go a little TOO far off-road. Then I remember that there could be something wonderful around that next curve.

Nonsense! That's clearly identifiable as a road! ^_^

I'm a bad bunny. When in Spain or the Canaries, with a rental car, I'd always be the one to guide us down the tiniest roads on the map, some of which were.. somewhat notional. As the road surface deteriorated into rough gravel and small boulders, we'd be left wondering - does this actually get better? Before realising that with the road the width of the car, and a cliff on one side, we had basically one option. Hitting actual tarmac again felt so very good.

'Course, I'd do it again in a heartbeat. =:)
