Stephen Universe continues to be one of the best animated shows on TV right now. What seems to be a typical kids cartoon is turning out to have one of the deepest backstories, deepest emotional impact, character development and arc-stories I've seen since Babylon 5.

Ah! Reminds me, I've got several episodes of SU sitting around here, awaiting watching.. trouble is, I just wind up watching so little TV, almost exclusively when I join the roomie downstairs some evenings. I'm still only about halfway through S1 of Orange is the New Black, and Extant, and have four episodes of MLP unwatched yet, not counting today's.

I suppose the issue is that I generally much prefer enjoying TV with company, rather than just by myself, added to the overarching sense that time spent watching TV is time I'm not spending on, say, photography, or learning OpenGL or OpenCL. =:/ (And then, of course, there are the current sources of frustration noted in the occasional non-public entries of late)
