My "Movie Archaeology" hobby isn't just limited to Star Trek and Star Wars movies. Superman Lives is one of those What If Movie Archaeology questions that was never answered.

Then I saw this...and believe it or not, I really think we missed out on something kinda awesome.

Dammit! And yet, they had to go ahead with those recent ones instead? Ah well.. let it rarely be said Hollywood execs have anything resembling taste. (With some notable exceptions, of course - I'm still impressed, even with his commercial cachet established, that Nolan was given such freedom with Inception and Interstellar)
