The Imperatrix of the People's Socialist Democratic Federated Republic of Texas is displeased by events that have occurred in her absence. My first decree from The Amarillo Motel 6 Presidential Palace is that the City of Houston has 48 hours to leave the Republic.

If you don't want your Imperatrix in your bathrooms, I don't want you in The Realm. I hear Montana is nice this time of year, and has lots of empty land you can land your city on.

HERO's defeat was a little surprising, and tremendously disappointing. Houston may not be exactly Austin, but I'd hoped that goodness would ultimately win out, despite the vicious closed-mindedness of HERO's opponents.

Of course, it's far from the end - equality and accommodation will prevail. It'll just take a bit longer. =:/

Personally, I'd be fine with leading an independent nation of coastal California, Oregon, and Washington. I'm not entirely convinced the USA deserves the West Coast.
