Is that correct, I wonder - 1 in 4,500 girls lacks a uterus? That seems like quite a lot. But then, maybe they'd simply never have been diagnosed, in previous times, as anything but "barren".

Ah, for the day when we can simply encourage the body to grow what's missing, through expression of a new phenotype.. but we're a long way off from even being able to safely redesign one's genome, let alone replicate it, and then have it express itself, as if things had always been that way. Eventually, though, I can't see that not happening. ^_^
