dolariI really do have a soft spot for the badly written Anakin Skywalker. Despite the trust of Qui-Gon Jinn and Obi-Wan Kenobi, he's kept off the Jedi Council repeatedly because no one trusts him to be good on the council, despite being one of the most powerful Jedi.
Yeah, he's a little angry, yeah, he's a little impulsive. But he's a good kid, doing good work. It's only when the council keeps telling him repeatedly "No." That he begins to doubt the council (even though he keeps the trust of his friends still intact, right up until his turn, thanks to Palpatine). And, if it wasn't for the constant distrust of the council, he likely would have been a great Jedi.
