Thinking of adding a mystery to the Genevieve story that won't be explained. Something for the reader to decide "What's this all about?" without actually going out of my way to explain what it's all about.

Mm, I'd be fine with that - but then, I've been through many anime, where leaving things open-ended isn't rare. It feels more natural to me - life generally doesn't have clean little episodes, after all.

You could, at some point, consider making up some kind of trailer for it - a bit of motion graphics, a couple frames of concept art, some quotes.. not, of course, to eat into time that could be spent writing it. ^_^
