I love you Robotech, but...wow, that Southern Cross segment is so so slow. But I'll give you this - the Robotech version of Southern Cross is still better than the Japanese one which is even slower and more plodding.

You can tell it was trying. Great character designs, neat idea behind having the three main characters all women, interesting plot, good...um...decent...um...unique mecha designs. Kick ass opening credit...

But it's so so so so slothily slooooooooooooooooooooooow....
