May. 30th, 2016 10:41 amSo, after digging through three tapes, I encoded just one Dangaioh OVA (edited down to 13 minutes for a public access anime show) , a commercial for a Mark Russel Comedy Special (used to love him until I realized he was just doing the same four songs over and over again) and a full copy of the English Dub of Locke the Superpower (Where the heck did I get that?!).
I figure once the rest of the videotapes come here, it'll be a lot like that. Only one or two things per tape, that I haven't already replaced digitally.
But, wow, talk about the nostalgia from 1990....

Date: 2016-06-04 11:03 pm (UTC)But, yes, I look through all my DVDs, which I was avidly picking up around 1998-2002, and realise they're all entirely obsolete, with far better HD versions available now, with that $20 DVD now worth virtually nothing. (At least the laserdiscs have huge artwork =:)
