So, after digging through three tapes, I encoded just one Dangaioh OVA (edited down to 13 minutes for a public access anime show) , a commercial for a Mark Russel Comedy Special (used to love him until I realized he was just doing the same four songs over and over again) and a full copy of the English Dub of Locke the Superpower (Where the heck did I get that?!).

I figure once the rest of the videotapes come here, it'll be a lot like that. Only one or two things per tape, that I haven't already replaced digitally.

But, wow, talk about the nostalgia from 1990....

I was only spared that through having to abandon my storage space in San Diego. *sigh* A pity, as there are a few things that even now are basically unavailable anywhere, like "Gophers!", a fun kid's show starring two families, gophers and rabbits, realised using good fursuiting and animatronics. (If you ever find that around, please snag it!)

But, yes, I look through all my DVDs, which I was avidly picking up around 1998-2002, and realise they're all entirely obsolete, with far better HD versions available now, with that $20 DVD now worth virtually nothing. (At least the laserdiscs have huge artwork =:)
