Jun. 11th, 2016 10:07 amBecause of the money issues I've been having all year, I haven't really had a chance to roadtrip. Roadtrips make for a sane Jenn, and in a year of money problems and attacks on transgender people, I haven't felt really sane in a long time.
The Solstice is coming up, which I usually use for a Big Roadtrip (taking advantage of the extended daylight), and I'm thinking of doing one, wether I can afford it our not, for my own mental health.
But where to go?
Mount Baker? I tried to visit it once but was blocked by snow(!) In June(!).
Mount Adams? The only mountain in the immediate area I haven't visited.
Kitsap Peninsula? This area of Washington is almost completely unexplored to me.
Another Vancouver trip? I'd hoped to visit Canada four times a year, but haven't been able to afford it. This would likely need to be a two day trip, though, including a hotel room.
Drive the Sunset Highway? I've already done the Pacific Highway from Vancouver to it's original end at Mt Shasta, why not the other big Auto Trail?
Stay at home and save your money for the next big personal economic disaster? The most likely, and possibly the best, if all the options given how bad things have gotten....
