Jul. 26th, 2016 09:22 amQuestion for the grease monkeys out there:
Back in February, I got my front rotors replaced. 4000 miles and five months later they're warped. The mechanic who did it said "We'll replace them under warranty only this one time, but no one in Seattle warranties rotors, and I won't do it again. Keep your foot off the brakes on these hills and downshift instead."
I drove my pickup in Seattle for five years, and seven years before that on one set of rotors. This car has never had rotor repair before I bought her, and suddenly they're out in five months? That sounds like bullshit, that looks like bullshit, I call bullshit. But I'm not a professional - is that bullshit?
