dolariTrying not to get to hung up on the Roman stuff for the Genevieve story, as we won't really directly see anything from that time period in the book.
The real stories are the ones who get the virus later. In fact, if I was to do this as a movie or comic, we would never even really see Genevieve herself. All the Genevieves remember her as how they look now....
