Mechanic has no idea what is wrong with the car. Knows SOMETHING is happening, but not sure WHAT is happening. Is going to replace the rotors and pads at no charge, and replace the calipers and bleed the brake system at cost and labor.
Eep! A bit disconcerting that they don't seem to know what the problem actually is, but with all that done, there's not a lot left untouched, at least as far as the brake system is concerned. =:/
