I'm guessing western Washington is just terrible for shortwave. I used to get all sorts of stuff in Texas, but I've gotten only one weak signal in three hours here in Duvall (and got nothing in Redmond, being in that valley).

Sounds like here. =:/ (Though at least there's a lot of airport traffic, if I feel like heading that way)

There's lots of VHF out here, sure. I'm listening to WW7PSR as we speak. But shortwave? Nada.
