Crossposted from my Dream Journal cause (1) It's a TS specific dream, which I don't have often and (2) No one reads the dream journal anyways. :)

My mother has decided that I'm taking too much time off of work and puts me back in high school to pick up a few credits. I complain but she does it anyway. So I start school, and all the people who were freshman when I graduated are now seniors. I go into a class and all my teachers sort of recognize me, now that I've become female. The class goes as normal and when we leave, I mention "I'm just going to class to check my makeup." My teacher looks at me, and finally recognizes me and says "Don't make makeup your entire life, and smiles. I go into a teacher's private restroom and fix my makeup, and change outfits. I finally decide that I don't need any of these classes since I've graduated and leave the school.

This seems to be a common theme, although public school ones have become increasingly rare for me.

More common but also decreasing in frequency are back in the military dreams. Often I'm back just off of the flightline in Zweibruecken or some sort of hybrid of there, Bitburg, and places I only visited fleetingly. A common wrench that pops up is the realization that I have a beard I'm not shaving off and that it's a massive violation of AFR 35-10.

That normally causes the dream to end, as the fact that it hadn't come up before I remembered it usually causes me to realize that it's just a dream.

Okay. there's also back-at-UNT dreams. Actually, a major theme with these is the sinking realization that I've completely forgotten classes I signed up for -- probably a function of how long it's been since I've been a student at the University of North Texas or Denton High School.

No kidding? I frequently have one's where I'm working in dinner theater again (where I worked after high school, 15 years ago, and since closed). I always have the feeling that nobody there beleives that I'm really transitioning. They keep giving me the parts I used to play, and I keep trying to tell them that I don't want those parts anymore.

I guess this is a product of what happened the last time you visited your parents? I don't know if I'm interpreting it correctly, but it seems like it stands for something positive.
