Ever since the Steam Powered Giraffe show last week, the Nintendo Switch launch this last week, and Breath of the Wild this week, I've felt pretty stable emotionally. Maybe even good. This was at the expense of "situational awareness" of the world around me.

Catching up on the news, though...I'm kinda back in the pits. I've fiddled while Rome burns.

Each of us can only do so much. It wouldn't be reasonable to expect anybody to entirely forsake fun, even when there's plenty to battle against. What matters is that we try, and resist, in our manifold ways.
