dolariDue to a bad combination of still being on Pacific Time, Daylight Savings Time, and a late night...I didn't get up until 1PM (11AM Pacific, or, really, 10AM because of Daylight Savings). So I woke up REAL late.
And because of family obligations, I couldn't leave in time. Steph and I couldn't get together, which in the end worked out as it gave me time to sit and write out the eulogy. I ran it by the folks, who thought it was good, and the bits of humor were appropriate. My only real concerns are finishing it up before bawling and sounding like Bea Arthur because my voice, while on the mend, is still in Golden Girls territory.
The rest of the time was family and reminiscing. The calm before the storm of the next two days.
