rambling story alert

Back when I applied to colleges in high school, I wrote off to four schools. James Madision University and the University of Delaware would have nothing to do with me. Elon College, where I ultimately went, said yes. The fourth school, who also gave the thumbs-up? Susquehanna University -- a hop, skip, and a jump away from that place. Where, incidentally, my dad and I went for ice cream after visiting the school. :)
