dolariFinished Thief and the Cobbler. How did I miss this?! It's AMAZING!
Well, the finished parts are. You can definitely tell when the other animation company came in to finish the film.
On watching it, though, I definitely did get the feel that the story and plot were secondary to "I want to animate like you've never seen before." Shots and shots and shots of grandious animation barely attached to the plot. Animation that was plot centric was mostly workprints and The Other Company finishing his shots.
It's glorious animation, but I think it did the creator in.
