This two (maybe three?) parter episode is probably the best episode of Doctor Who I've seen in a long long while. They really channeled Pertwee era Dr Who for this. Definitely Capaldi's best.

Pity about that tacked on ending (no, not the cliffhanger, that was kind of awesome AND unexpected).
