dolariYou know, here's the thing.
I want to wake up every morning, put on clothes I'd like to wear, get my face on, go to work, put in a solid 8 to 10 hours, go out to eat someplace nice, come home, do the dishes and get some sleep.
Instead, I wake up every morning, put on clothes I don't really like to wear and skip the makeup because what I'd like will get me laughed at or occasionally assaulted, put in a solid 8 to 10 hours of work, grab drive through or cook at home because I've had people spit in my food when they see me, come home and go to the bathroom since bathroom politics makes it very hard to go anywhere else, do the dishes and get some sleep when I'm not so anxious about the next day that I can get more than four or five hours because THE HIGHEST LEVELS OF GOVERNMENT ARE NOW FIXING THEIR CROSSHAIRS ON US.
All this anti-transgender shit? It's not common sense. It's not about protecting the children, or a medical savings, or a distraction to work. It's not religious, it's not about sticking to nature. It's punitive. It's punishing The Other because you don't like it. Straight up. To believe other wise is fooling yourself.
I just want to be like 99% of the human population: I want to be ignored.
