The other day at work, I popped off my head phones to talk to a co-worker. He heard death metal coming out of it (I play stuff loud cause my hearing isn't all that good). "You don't seem the Death Metal type."
I don't have musical taste of my own. I absorb it from others.
Mom taught me 60s rock and 70s disco.
Dad taught me old time country.
Marisa taught me 60s pop.
Steph taught me hard rock and metal.
Amy taught me 90s grunge and late 90s girl bands.
North taught me 80s new wave.
Tess taught me death metal.
Emily taught me shoegaze and industrial drum and bass.
I'll give anything a shot, and if I like it, I'll keep listening.
