It's sad that you have to do a search about jobs attitudes with Transsexuals, but I have done so, and I think I may have been mistaken by the sites I saw with a search on the Episcopalians. Everyone I know seems to say they're pretty open, and one of Dean's coworkers actually goes to "Saint Dave's" as they call it and says they're pretty good.

So, Im going to go ahead and interview with them. I'll know first hand pretty quickly what they're attitude is.

I'm thinking every good thought that I can for you. Good luck, Jenn.

These days almost every denomination has some kind of group trying to open their Church to LBGT folks. The Episcopal group is called Integrity (http://www.integrityusa.org). Even with denominations that are staunchly opposed to LGBT folks, like the Catholics, individual parishes can still be accepting and understanding. I was once president of the parish council at a Catholic parish, and they knew I was trans and a queer rights activist. (Of course this was ten years ago. Things have gone downhill since then, and I now consider myself to be a Humanist.) But give it a try. At worst they'll say, "Boo!" and you can leave.
