Thoughts before bed.

I stopped keeping track of the ma'ams and sirs. It got depressing.

Today as I was walking towards a pair of single stall bathrooms, a guy told me, "you can go first, I'm good." I said l was heading to the women's bathroom. He replied with "Woah, you live dangerously."

I didn't know wether to be upset he got my gender wrong, or to just agree that I live dangerously.

Been noticing more public-access and worksite-specific washrooms across Ottawa going "non-gender-specific" in the past year. It's slow, but it's happening.
